Open Space Update

WPLT sponsored a tree-planting near the entrance to the Pickering Creek Bridge-to-Bridge trail (corner of Route 113 and Pikeland Road). In addition to 5 large trees, WPLT board members and volunteers planted 30 saplings to stabilize the Pickering Creek  bank and prevent erosion. A kiosk now provides a trail map and shows connections to the Binky Lee Preserve.
