January 14, 2009 - Executive Committee Recommends Denying Conditional Use Application

The Executive Committee of the West Pikeland Land Trust sent a letter to the West Pikeland Board of Supervisors in advance of the conditional use hearing on January 15 recommending that it deny granting conditional use for the proposed ACMEC temple on Conestoga Road.

July 31, 2008 - WPLT Weighs in on Environmental Impact of Pine Creek Park Fields

West Pikeland Land Trust sent a letter to the West Pikeland Board of Supervisors urging them to consider the township's land use plans before taking any action on the proposed soccer fields at Pine Creek Park. An excerpt:

"As the township’s Land Trust, our obligation is to protect the township’s environment for the scenic enjoyment of the general public. We ask you to support this goal by preserving our township’s irreplaceable resources while building recreational facilities at locations that careful planning has determined to be the best location for all concerned."
